Cookie policy
A cookie is a small file placed on your device when you visit a website. This site places none. It only keeps your privacy choices in your browser, and loads content from another site only with your consent.
What the site keeps and what it loads
A single piece of information is kept without your consent, because it serves to remember your choice. Any content from another site waits for your consent.
This is not a cookie but an entry in your browser's local storage. It is never sent to our servers, and the law exempts it from consent because it serves to respect yours.
| Name | Placed by | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| privalux.confidentialite | This site | Remember your privacy choice and its date, so that the map is shown or not without asking you again | 6 months |
Loaded from another site, it sends that site your IP address and technical information about your browser. Without your consent it is not displayed, and the rest of the site remains fully usable.
| Content | Provided by | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| Map, Contact page | OpenStreetMap Foundation, United Kingdom | Show our offices on a map. No cookie is placed. | Under OpenStreetMap's policy |
The site uses no audience measurement tool, no advertising cookie and no social media button. Its fonts are served by the site itself, without calling on a third-party service. Links to other sites, such as Google Maps directions or a LinkedIn profile, load nothing until you follow them; once there, those sites' own rules apply.
Managing your consent
Before the map is shown
The site asks you nothing when you arrive, since it sets no cookies. Only the map on the Contact page waits for your consent: it stays hidden until you use the “Show the map” button, which counts as consent to external content. You can also decide in advance through the “Cookie settings” link, where rejecting is as easy as accepting.
Changing your mind
The “Cookie settings” link at the foot of every page reopens your preferences. Withdrawing consent applies going forward, and the map stops being displayed at once. Your choice is kept for six months, or less if the list of content changes; after that, the map waits for your consent again.
Through your browser
Your choice is specific to each browser and each device. Clearing this site's browsing data deletes it, and the map will wait for your consent again on your next visit.
The processing of your personal data is described in our privacy policy. For any request, write to the Data Protection Officer.
You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection in respect of your data, together with the right to lodge a complaint with the Commission nationale pour la protection des données.
